Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the HR Manager, this position will be involved in various aspects of the HR process, including recruiting, pre-screening, onboarding, and other administrative tasks supporting the human resources department.

Essential Job Functions

  • Communicate with HR Manager and staffing service to fill vacant positions and conduct facility tours
  • Refer acceptable applicants to the appropriate supervisor and coordinate interviews
  • Conduct new hire orientations
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory and distributing company uniforms
  • Various administrative duties including making copies / packets, organizing files, data entry, and sending correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Maintain proper record of attendance reports submitted by management
  • Compile raw data into Excel for use in departmental reports
  • Initiate benefits enrollments and cancellations
  • Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating company events and employee engagement activities
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Requirements : Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years of HR experience preferred
  • Intermediate level user of MS Office : Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Positive, energetic, and outgoing with an open mind to learning
  • Ability to multitask, handle multiple interruptions and follow through
  • Ability to work well as a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Cognitive or Mental Requirements of the Job :

    Employee must be able to see and hear, read and write. Requires adaptability, analyzing, assessing, calculating, decision making, dependability, judgment, reading, speaking, following direction, handling multiple priorities and reasoning.
