GARAGE SALE VINTAGE –Bartender
Schedule: Part-time
The Garage Sale Vintage Bartender is a dedicated and experienced, high volumebartender. In this role, you will work in a team setting which requires superior communication skills, friendly and positive energy, and the ability to multitask. Knowledge of all food and drinks on the menu is a must with a strong ability to upsell. Garage Sale Vintage is a retail hospitality concept and every team member is required to deliver a gold standard of customer service and be an ambassador for our unique brand experience.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet all customers promptly and enthusiastically.
- Explain the concept of Garage Sale and Garage Sale Vintage food and beverage menu.
- Check identification from customers and ensure they are of legal drinking age.
- Serve and prepare food and drinks according to training.
- Ensure customers are being taken care of from the moment they enter Garage Sale until the moment they leave.
- Respond to customers in a polite and friendly manner; keep calm and even tone with customers in moments of high stress.
- Upsell cocktails and offer shots to all bar goers and shoppers.
- Check out all bar guests and act as check out for Vintage customers as well.
- Maintain a clean bar at all times.
- Make sure any additional side work is being completed throughout the shift.
- Check in with the bar manager or bar lead before leaving for the day to ensure all side work is wrapped up and batching has been finalized.
- Setup and break down outdoor elements of display daily; umbrellas, tables, chairs, etc.
- Assist in overall cleanliness of the store, including restrooms and outdoor space.

REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years experience in a high volume, professional bar environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Working knowledge of basic drink recipes, beer wine and liquor.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Personality and flexibility to work in a fast paced and creative work environment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be available to work nights, holidays and weekends.
- Must be eligible to work within the United States.
