Salary Range: $50000.00 - $55000.00 Salary/year
Description
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and performs the monthly financial statement using GAAP and the accrual basis of accounting
- Analyzes income and balance sheet, reserve management, property and sales tax, and accounts payable
- Conducts annual budget and audit review
- Oversees cash management including bank reconciliation, verification of ACH, and payroll transfers
- Manages annual property taxes bills, verifying accurate reporting and timely payments, and initiating and following up with appeals as needed
- Researches and responds to financial information inquiries made by owners, lenders, auditors, regulatory agencies and third parties
- Leads team of Training Specialists, Accounting Manager, and Community employees
- Responsible for SOX reporting and testing
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Demonstrates analytical skills with comprehension and application of GAAP
- Experience with Sage, Intacct, or Yardi hosted property management software and other applications preferred
- Detail oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
