As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Guard

• You can provide excellent customer service.
• You understand that it is an On-Call position that requires you to work at least once per week, or twice in the same pay period, and also understand that you can do more by saying "YES" more.
• You will assist the front gate officer with visitor management and access control, ensuring only authorized individuals enter the property.
• You will be involved in patrolling the property by car and by foot in a safe manner.
• You will observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site.
• You are flexible to work at any site, any time, any shift, and any location, as needed.
• You provide rapid response in critical situations, providing assistance and coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
• You document and report any unusual activities or incidents to site management and the appropriate authorities and communicate with the Homeowners Association regarding emergencies or safety concerns.
• You keep accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and visitor information to ensure a clear record of events for security purposes.
• You have excellent ability to read and write detailed reports.
• You can quickly learn the client's procedures, regulations, and standards so you can enforce them.
• You can easily learn the various tasks asked of you.
• You are comfortable using modern technology and electronics as needed.
• You greet residents and their guests with a friendly demeanor verifying their identity and ensuring proper access to the community.
• You regularly inspect and maintain all security equipment and the patrol vehicle to ensure they are operating correctly.

• You are able to pass a Physical Agility Test, which includes pushups, sit-ups, and chin-ups.
• You have a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) in hand, or college degree.
• You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process.
• If you have Military, or Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a minimum of 1 year working in a fast paced, high-end HOA.
• You can stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time, and can work in the elements.
• You have excellent people skills.
• You can multitask and work well under pressure.
• You have a valid PILB in hand.
• You have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• You are a U.S. Citizen Naturalized.
