JOB SUMMARY
In accordance with Garden Gate Ranch’s mission and vision, the standards set up by the organization’s Founder, Executive Director, and the Board, the Program Coordinator provides leadership and program oversight to all of the young women in the program. This position seeks to develop and maintain high-quality healing and restoration programs for women and their child/children who have survived domestic human (sex) trafficking. Garden Gate Ranch is responsible for ensuring that the educational, medical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of residents are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implements and oversees a high-quality program approved by the founder, Executive Director, and Board of Directors. Its results are so that the residents may benefit from therapy, education, spiritual guidance, and life skills training.
- Provides oversight for all programming staff (teaching assistants, instructors, volunteers, case manager, and childcare workers) and facilitates classes as needed. (Oversight starts after your 90-day review)
- Oversees program evaluations and budget management.
- Follow up with the Case Manager to ensure the plan for individual goals for each resident is being met by providing appropriate direction, monitoring, and reviews for all residents and all people providing programming support.
- Serve as an on-call employee when assigned.
Organizational Leadership
- The Program Coordinator must have the ability to catch the vision and mission of GGR and implement what has been established by the Executive Director and the Board of Directors.
- Participate in staff meetings and strategic planning meetings.
- Create, update, and comply with strategic plans, program goals, and budgets.
- Participate as a Care Team member and attend all Care Team meetings.
- Build a healthy, trusting, cohesive programming team that works well together to accomplish the mission of the program.
- Oversee, develop and update needed program and handbook policy changes as directed by the Executive Director.
- Oversee the execution of plans for quality improvement to ensure compliance with licensure and accreditation requirements if applicable.
- Use the strength-based approach in dealing with staff, volunteers, and residents.
- Professionally represent Garden Gate Ranch positively and engagingly on tours, at social activities, and events.
- Provide support and crisis help as needed.
Program Operations
- Enforce GGR policies.
- Provide supervision, structure, and support for residents in academics and curriculum.
- Schedule and implement programming for residents.
- Train, schedule, and oversee volunteer and staff teachers/tutors.
- Ensure each teacher and/or volunteer reads and reviews academics and programming in order to provide assistance to the residents.
- Provide feedback to the Executive Director regarding academics and curriculum.
- Coordinate the communication and function of all programming.
- Direct residents to different passages/verses in the Bible that speak to their needs/concerns.
- Attend/listen to various trainings and read books as directed by the Executive Director in order to effectively teach/maintain a biblical approach.
- Oversee and monitor the program components and the ongoing balance of them in concert with other staff and leadership members.
- Define, implement, evaluate, refine, and ensure overall excellence in program curriculum and procedures, with the Executive Director’s approval, to align with GGR Core Values, Guiding Principles, Code of Conduct, and Statement of Faith
- Assist Case Manager with individual care plan (ICP) and in processing referrals, program applications, and Intake procedures as needed.
- Ensure intakes and resident practices are followed as designed and suggest refining when necessary.
- Facilitate Program Care Coordination meetings with residents regarding policy and conflicts.
- Be aware of the resident's daily activities and review DCC notes daily.

- Provide residents, volunteers, and staff with a safe and supportive environment through functional, healthy, appropriate boundaries and balanced relationships that demonstrate the love of Christ.
- Lead by example in modeling a healthy lifestyle in the body, soul, and spirit.
- Provide direction and encouragement to program residents, volunteers, and programming staff members.
- Practice and teach healthy boundaries to program residents, volunteers, and programming staff.
- Navigate interpersonal conflict by speaking the truth in love.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services field or two years progressively responsible experience
- Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record.
- Proficient in computer operations, including internet programs.
- Planning and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and proven ability to exercise mature judgment.
- Good problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to switch tasks quickly as new priorities arise.
- Understand and demonstrate a willingness to engage in Garden Gate Ranch's Core Values, Code of Conduct, and ministry guiding principles.

- Able to meet work schedule requirements. Work must be performed in person and on-site.
