Landscape Forewoman/Foreman

Garden Girls has been providing clients with unique and exceptional landscaping solutions for over 20 years. Currently, we are seeking experienced, knowledgeable, and passionate Landscape Forewomen/Foremen to join our team. The Landscape Forewoman/Foreman will lead and direct crews, communicate with management and clients, and manage production efficiency to maintain time-sensitive deadlines. Proficiency in all aspects of landscaping and superior plant knowledge are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, direct and manage landscape crews of 1-15 team members in the preparation and execution of daily tasks. Leads by example with a supportive and positive attitude.
• Delegate project duties with a positive attitude so work is performed with maximum efficiency and quality of work.
• Provide on the job training and positive coaching of crew to maximize potential of each crew member.
• Provide excellent customer service. Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients regarding all aspects of projects.
• Install projects accurately according to design and budget.
• Effectively communicate project status to all stakeholders.
• Manage and oversee the daily transportation of project materials, tools, equipment, and debris.
• Maintain a safe and clean project site.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently; ensure safe use by team members.
• Manage team members, including training, development, coaching, and conflict resolution.
• Demonstrate efficient work practices and dependability.
• Communicate required project materials, tools, and equipment lists to the supervisor.
• Evaluate employees working under your leadership and provide feedback to management.
• Lead, contribute to, and/or assist at all on-site and company meetings.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of landscaping techniques, plant materials, irrigation, and hardscapes.
• Five years of experience in the landscaping industry with three years of experience managing landscaping projects.
• Ability to problem-solve and create solutions to daily challenges.
• Must be willing and able to perform physically demanding tasks in all types of weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• High energy team player who is detail-oriented, organized, honest, and positive.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have own vehicle.
• Must have a clean driving record for three years to operate company vehicles.
• High School diploma or GED.

This job

• Compensation is competitive and based on experience and performance.
• This is a full-time, seasonal position from March through December.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
