Position Overview: As the Controller, you will oversee all financial aspects of the company, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective financial management. You will play a crucial role in supporting strategic decision-making and enhancing our financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Provide month-end closeout for each company
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Oversee the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and goals.
- Manage and comply with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Obtain competitive rates and manage insurance policies
- Involvement with Payroll Management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
- years of experience in accounting or finance, with 10 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
