What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at Garden State Spinal Care?
Garden State Spinal Care is searching for the talent & skills of an experienced Front Desk Receptionist for a growing chiropractic practice. We are a small, dynamic team with a focus on modern treatment methods and women's health.
The successful candidate should have an outgoing and friendly personality, with a natural talent for customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting and checking in patients, making them feel at home
- Management of phone system, call answering, call backs and follow up with patients
- Patient Scheduling & timely communication with staff regarding schedule changes
- Managing our general Email inbox and responding to questions in a timely manner
- Organizing and Printing documents for the Doctor
- Cleaning of treatment areas after patient visits, cleaning of office space, temperature checks and rigorous adherence to COVID-19 protocols.
- Management of Payments, Receipts, Patient Ledgers
- Assist with other daily functions as needed (Bank Runs, Coffee, Supplies and Stationery
Qualifications and Skills
- High School Diploma / GED Required
- 2 Years experience in Medical Reception or related hospitality / customer service role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Dr Chrono EMR / EHR Software or similiar preferred but not required
- Strong PC skills - Word, Excel, Chrome, Outlook, Gmail, Square.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
