Description:
The Seasonal Production Worker will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality garden-related products. You will perform all set-up functions and will be expected to continuously monitor quality while striving for continuous process improvement. Our ideal candidate will have physical stamina (able to lift up to 75lbs), previous manufacturing, warehouse, or construction experience, and be a detail-oriented and self-motivated team player. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who is honest, likes to stay busy, enjoys hands-on work, has great attention to detail, and enjoys a collaborative work atmosphere as part of a team that likes to work hard and have fun while doing it. You will be expected to cut and punch materials, assemble products, pack boxes to certain specifications, and load trucks.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent desirable.
- Previous manufacturing and production work experience is desired. Forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to use various tools: nailers, drills, rivet guns, strapping machines, punches, and saws.
- Ability to read and interpret drawing specifications and accurately measure in both standard and metric.
- Ability to produce accurate work in a safe and timely manner.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to do manual work for long hours while maintaining productivity rates.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, which can require a teammate’s assistance. Must be able to stand for long periods.
- Contribute to an upbeat work atmosphere by communicating and interacting positively with coworkers, management, and delivery drivers.
