We’re looking for an Accounts Receivable Manager to join our team. This role will be integral in ensuring smooth billing operations, accurate cash application, and efficient collections management. Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with project managers and sales teams to prepare accurate progress draws, address discrepancies, and generate and send final invoices, ensuring timely payments are tracked.
- Post online payments, deposit checks and apply payments.
- Implement effective collection strategies for project invoices.
- Prepare documentation for collections, including liaising with attorneys and filing liens as necessary.
- Review aging reports to prioritize collections and minimize delinquencies.
- Reconcile contract due dates and billing accuracy.
- Calculate final billing for contracts that terminate before completion.
- Reconcile Accounts Receivable (AR) balances and generate detailed reports for management.
- Prepare accounts receivable reports highlighting delinquent accounts and those sent to collections.
- Maintain strong, positive relationships with customers by addressing billing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and AR team members to resolve billing disputes.
- Contact customers to resolve payment issues, negotiate plans, and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Reach out to clients for clarification on non-invoiced amounts.
- Monitor and respond to AR Slack messages and emails
What You Bring to the Table:
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven experience in billing, collections, or accounts receivable management.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage relationships both internally and externally.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines.
- A proactive mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in accounting systems
- Ability to analyze reports and make data-driven decisions.

Position reports to Gardens of Babylon Chief Financial Officer
Salary Range - $70,000-$80,000 annually
Hours/Location: This position will be based at our Headquarters at 125 Spence Lane, Nashville, TN, 37210. Upon agreement with the Chief Financial Officer, one day per week may be worked remotely. Hours of work: 8A - 4P including lunch break.
