Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. Responsibilities
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management.
- Oversee general ledger accounting, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions and reporting.
- Manage cash flow and cash management processes to optimize liquidity.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, budget reports, and cash flow forecasts.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Collaborate with various departments to provide insights on financial concepts impacting their operations.
- Ensure timely completion of audits and compliance with governmental accounting standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Knowledge of hospitality field preferred.
- Proven experience in financial management, with a strong emphasis on general ledger accounting.
- Proficiency in financial report writing and analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of cash management practices and SOX compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with IFRS regulations and governmental accounting principles is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast financial trends effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex financial information clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a small, dynamic team in a fast-paces environment.
