Financial Operations Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial management principles, governmental accounting, and compliance standards. This role is pivotal in guiding the organization’s financial strategy and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management.
• Oversee general ledger accounting, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions and reporting.
• Manage cash flow and cash management processes to optimize liquidity.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, budget reports, and cash flow forecasts.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
• Collaborate with various departments to provide insights on financial concepts impacting their operations.
• Ensure timely completion of audits and compliance with governmental accounting standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Knowledge of hospitality field preferred.
• Proven experience in financial management, with a strong emphasis on general ledger accounting.
• Proficiency in financial report writing and analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of cash management practices and SOX compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with IFRS regulations and governmental accounting principles is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast financial trends effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex financial information clearly.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a small, dynamic team in a fast-paces environment.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.

Pay: $78,620.04 - $110,682.20 per year
