Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Director/Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This role also involves managing our staff and overseeing the overall operation of our facility, designing engaging lesson plans, implementing age-appropriate activities, and ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere for all students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement creative lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to the diverse needs of preschool-aged children.
- Foster a positive learning environment by encouraging curiosity, exploration, and social interaction among students.
- Assess children's progress through observation and documentation, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to create an integrated curriculum that promotes holistic development.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that is conducive to learning and exploration.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
- Supervise children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Skills
- Strong lesson planning abilities to create engaging educational experiences for preschoolers.
- Experience in tutoring or providing individualized support to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Familiarity with standardized testing practices as they relate to early childhood education.
- Background in daycare or childcare settings, demonstrating a commitment to nurturing young children.
- Knowledge of preschool education principles and practices that support early childhood development.
- Organization and Managerial skills.
- Understanding of early intervention strategies for children who may need additional support.
- Experience working in preschool school settings.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
