Business Development Manager – Contract Manufacturing
Gardner Standard LLC's portfolio company seeks a high-energy Business Development Manager to drive growth in contract manufacturing.
You will lead business development efforts, uncover new revenue streams, and build long-term partnerships across OTC drug, cosmetics, and medical device sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive contract manufacturing growth.
- Pursue new business through prospecting, networking, and outreach.
- Build lasting client relationships by understanding customer needs and aligning them with our capabilities.
- Serve as the key link between clients and internal teams for seamless onboarding and execution.
- Deliver compelling proposals and presentations that win trust and close deals.
- Negotiate scalable, profitable contracts aligned with company goals.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive shifts, and market dynamics.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date sales pipeline using CRM tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (Business, Marketing, Engineering preferred).
- 3 years of proven B2B sales success—ideally in contract manufacturing, OEM, or industrial services.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain logistics.
- Excellent communicator, negotiator, and relationship builder.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in CPG, OTC drugs, cosmetics, or medical devices.
- Familiarity with GMP, regulatory compliance, and quality standards.
