We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented In-House Recruiter with a strong background in the Construction industry to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent. You'll play a vital role in ensuring compliance with labor regulations while partnering closely with project managers to meet staffing needs. Success in this position requires a proactive mindset, strategic approach to workforce planning, and the ability to thrive in a highly competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition: Proactively source and attract top-tier candidates using diverse channels such as job boards, social media, employee referrals, and professional networks.
End to End Recruitment: Oversee the entire hiring process—from job posting and candidate screening to interviews, offer negotiations, and onboarding.
Collaboration with Hiring Manager: Partner with project manager to assess staffing needs and ensure efficient, timely hiring.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all recruitment practices align with applicable labor laws and internal policies.
Onboarding Support: Facilitate the onboarding process to help new employees transition smoothly and effectively into their roles.
Talent Pipeline Development: Cultivate relationships with universities, trade schools, and industry organizations to support long-term talent acquisition strategies
Preferred Experience
· Required: A minimum of 3-5 years of work experience as a recruiter or in a similar human resources function.
· Experience recruiting across both blue-collar and office-based roles.
· Bilingual skills required specifically Spanish
· Certification or formal training in recruitment, HR, or a related field is an advantage.
· Interpersonal skills to build rapport and foster relationships with candidates and new hires.
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary: Competitive salary based on experience (Range from $60,000 - $80,000 annually depending on qualifications).
Bonus: Annual bonus dependent on company performance.
