What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA Patient Transport/Restorative Aide position at Garfield County Public Hospital District No.1?
Garfield County Hospital District is looking for the right individual to join our team as a CNA that would also provide transportation services to our patients, assist physical therapy as a restorative Aid, and would be assist the Trauma Program Manager with data abstraction and reporting.
Duties would include but not be limited to:
- Transporting patients safely to and from appointments
- Updating patient evacuation documentation as needed
- Update SDS binders
- Data collection to report to trauma registry database
- Participate in quality assurance/data validation to ensure accuracy of data collection and submissions
- Assists patients in exercise routines under the direction of physical therapy
- Record patient progress for doctor and physical therapist reference
- Assist patients with daily needs such as bathing, dressing and toileting
- Assist in keeping patient rooms tidy and in order
This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, dependent upon transportation schedule. As a full-time position, you are eligible for our full benefits package, including:

The ideal candidate will have an active WA state NAC certification, clean driving record, high school diploma, BLS certificate, and ability to work independently and to interact positively with patients and coworkers.
Experience with an employee health record system and one year of CNA experience, and knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is preferred.
