OBJECTIVE:
Skilled and detail-oriented Software Administrator. The Software Administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of software systems critical to our operations, including but not limited to NISC systems, billing software, GIS tools, and other utility management applications. Works closely with internal teams to ensure software systems are functioning optimally and meet operational needs.
Minimum Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred but not required or equivalent work and/or training experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Strong knowledge of software deployment, configuration, and maintenance.
· Experience with troubleshooting and resolving software-related issues.
· Proficiency in database management and data backup systems.
· Ability to manage and prioritize multiple software systems and support requests.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to train non-technical users.
· Knowledge of utility operations and regulatory standards in the electric utility industry is a plus.
