The Hot Check Clerk is a part-time position that is responsible for the clerical support for the "Hot Check Program" within the Prosecuting Attorney’s office. This individual provides accurate and timely maintenance of all records, payments, and filing of documents. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining correct records of fees collected and all other relative information for the Prosecuting Attorney's Office. The Hot Check Clerk receives affidavits from merchants and individuals and accepts payments accurately and professionally. Also, the incumbent prepares forms, letters, warrants, etc., for filings with the court. Starting pay of $11.0 per hour. This position requires a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
