What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales Rep - New Jersey Territory position at Garlock Equipment?
GENERAL SUMMARY
The position of Outside Sales Representative will conduct sales calls in the field via face-to-face interaction with potential and existing customers within assigned territory; serves as the face of Garlock East; is responsible for providing the best possible experience to our customers on a daily basis; required to provide hands-on demonstration of products when necessary; and assists with stocking, picking, and packing of products sold. Territory assigned is the state of New Jersey.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers
· Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers
· Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers
· Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
· Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally
· Sell the company’s products or services to customers within your given territory
· Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs
· Maintain truck and other equipment in clean functional condition
· Attend tradeshows and industry events as needed
· Loading and unloading of equipment from truck and trailer
· Communicate with customers via phone and email
· Enter orders in ERP system
· Perform other duties as assigned

Compensation details: 65000-65000 Yearly Salary
