We are seeking a full-time Human Resources Coordinator in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with human resources activities and administrative functions in one or more of the following assigned specialization areas: university relations, community relations, training, benefits, health/wellness, systems, and compensation.
Essential Functions
- Perform administrative duties such as correspondence, reports, forms and letters, filing, typing, copying, faxing and travel arrangements
- Assist with planning and execution of company events
- Acquire and leverage Garmin and Human Resources knowledge
- Provide excellent customer service to Garmin associates and customers
- Coordinate all aspects of interview scheduling and handle aspects of travel coordination for candidates seeking employment with Garmin and its subsidiaries
- Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to provide candidate with information and communicate interview and schedule details for each candidate
- Assist with screening candidates, processing applications, scanning and attaching candidate information in Garmin’s candidate tracking system (iCIMS) for recruiters and managers, submitting that information to the appropriate recruiter, moving candidates into appropriate statuses, reference checking when necessary, and distribution of candidate onboarding forms, offer letters, and rejection letters
- Maintain and update job postings internally and externally as requested by the recruiters
- Create and send reimbursement letters to candidates following manager/team leader approval
- Assist recruiters and recruitment managers with other miscellaneous recruitment tasks as requested which may include assisting with different projects, coordinating and attending recruitment events (registration, catering, packing/shipping materials, communicate details to attendees prior to the event, assist with advertising, etc.)
- Maintain appropriate quantities of recruitment related materials, job fair booths, order additional supplies as necessary, and ensure remote locations have appropriate stock of recruitment related materials
- Help conduct trainings as needed
- Reconcile expense and expense tracking as needed
- High School Diploma or GED AND a minimum of 5 years administrative work experience OR Associates Degree AND a minimum of 1 year of administrative experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated intermediate proficient computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Demonstrated understanding of EEO and OFCCP regulations
- Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven experience dealing with confidential matters
- Committed to providing excellent customer service to Garmin associates and customers
- Consistently maintains professional demeanor and appearance
- Must be positive, detail oriented, organized, team oriented and a driven problem solver, multi-tasker, and self-starter with the ability to prioritize and work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field
- Previous experience working in a Human Resources department
- 1 years recruiting experience
- Previous iCIMS experience
