We are seeking a full-time Operations Seasonal Associate (Spring 2025 High-School Work Study: Warehouse) in our Olathe, KS location. This position is designed for high school students to start working part time in January who would be looking to go full-time upon graduation in the spring. In this role, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, moving material, inputting data and other inventory movement within a computerized system with accuracy while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, moving material, inputting data and other inventory movement within a computerized system with accuracy while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for accuracy of inventory, transactions, and material movement
- Receive, transact and sort material
- Follow Electronic Static Discharge (ESD) guidelines for static sensitive materials
- Pack materials to ensure adequately delivery to internal and external customers
- Operate RF device to transact and move material
- Must meet quality and productivity metrics
- Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe work environment
- Must possess the ability to safely and efficiently operate one or two pieces of powered industrial equipment such as a dock stocker or powered pallet jack
- Must possess the ability to bend, twist and lift up to 55 pounds while using safe lifting techniques, standing for an entire shift and walking long distances throughout the facility
- Compliance with HRD-003 (Garmin’s Attendance Policy) and all safety standards and policies
- Ability to work variable and flexible hours including overtime
- Must be a minimum of 16 years old
- Strong experience and aptitude with computers
- Must possess the ability to bend, twist and lift up to 55 pounds while using safe lifting techniques, standing for an entire shift and walking long distances throughout the facility
- Must possess the ability to safely and efficiently operate one or two pieces of powered industrial equipment such as a dock stocker or powered pallet jack
- Previous warehouse or related experience
- Database experience including Microsoft Excel and Access
- Previous Oracle Experience
