Responsibilities
Performs a variety of secretarial, clerical and administrative responsibilities to support the General Acute Surgery/Trauma Services (GAST). Maintains all required records, files and relative data for the department. Responsible for reviewing coding for professional services (ICD10, E&M, and CPT) through the abstraction of the electronic health record (EPIC) to ensure prompt and optimal financial reimbursement as well as for administrative and research purposes.

Compensation for the role is $20.27 -$25.34 hourly.

When determining a team member’s compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma required.
Minimum Experience
Physician office experience required. Two (2) years of experience in similar position preferred.
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Outlook.
