We are currently seeking a UAT Technical Tester for a client based out of Nashville, Tennessee. This is a remote position, [On need basis candidate must travel to onsite - Nashville, TN] (Preferred Local Candidates).
This Senior Technical Test Analyst will be a valued member of the client's Enterprise User Acceptance Test (UAT) team. The Senior Technical Test Analyst is expected to work independently and collaboratively with the client, team members, and other vendors working on the client's projects and initiatives. The candidate will work with the client providing Technical User Acceptance Test and project expertise to assist with modernizing their Medicaid Enterprise and enhancing their existing Medicaid operations. The Senior Technical Test Analyst will be responsible for UAT for Enterprise applications and services in-depth, including inter-application communications at the Integration and Data layers, as well as data conversions and Extract, Translate and Load (ETL) processes for data warehousing.

Job Duties
- Conduct all test case creation, validation, execution, and evaluation of project initiatives and identify issues in software or services based on requirements design documents
- Analyze discrepancies in service or performance and make recommendations for product or service updates including defect entry, tracking, and root cause analysis
- Review of UAT cases developed by client and client partners
- Execution of Interface testing with client partners including verification of requirements coverage
- Extraction and creation of test data for test case execution
- Manipulation of test data for test case execution
- Verification of interface to batch and data processes and accuracy of data insertion and extraction
- Execution of Data Conversion Testing
- Peer review of UAT test execution
- Support for Beta/Pilot testing if and where applicable.
- Support of Parallel testing
- Other duties as assigned
- Master's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 10 years' experience on one or more Eligibility, Medicaid, or Health and Human Services (HHS) IT projects
- Minimum of 5 years' experience involved in mid-scale or large-scale system development projects (including using test automation, test strategy, developing and executing test scripts and test plans)
- Minimum 5 years' technical testing experience to include:
- Understanding Software Quality Assurance best practices
- Experience developing high-level test scenarios
- Experience explaining technical concepts to non-technical users
- Technical Testing, inclusive of back-end Testing, and Non-functional testing.
SQL (Oracle and Postgres) - Data Analytics
- Experience testing interfaces between systems
- Data Warehouse Quality Assurance Testing including ETL processes
- Testing application developed for Cloud processing
- Testing integrated Service Level processes
- Creating and executing test cases for large scale implementations
- Basic understanding of Micro Services, Web Services
- Experience with the following type of tools: Data Quality Inspector, SOAP UI, XML, JSON
- Experience with following (or equivalent): DB2, Qlik, Snowflake
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to develop effective, positive working relationships with both internal and external contacts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with requirements traceability matrix
- Experience with Atlassian products Jira/Jama
- Experience with Testing phases and entrance and exit criteria
- Testing data creation and maintenance
- Familiarity with development tools and development languages
- Experience with Prolaborate
- Proficiency with Excel, Visio, Word, Power Point, SharePoint
- Experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) process model.
