Introduction:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Salesforce Tester to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about quality assurance and eager to develop their skills in Salesforce environments. As a Salesforce Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of our Salesforce applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and functional specifications.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications.
- Perform manual testing to identify defects and ensure software meets business requirements and quality standards.
- Support the automation of regression and functional tests using Salesforce testing tools.
- Log, track, and manage defects using appropriate defect tracking systems.
- Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, and review meetings to provide testing insights and updates.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Basic understanding of Salesforce CRM and its functionalities.
- Familiarity with software testing life cycle (STLC) and various testing methodologies (manual, regression, functional).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning and Apex is a plus.
- Knowledge of testing tools like Selenium, JIRA, or TestRail.
- Basic understanding of SQL and data validation techniques.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator or equivalent certification is advantageous.
