Role Description
This is a full-time or possibly part-time role for an Inside Manufacturing Sales Representative at our corporate office. The role involves tasks such as inside sales, customer service, lead generation, and account management on a daily basis. You will support our outside sales team with follow-up, appointment setting, CRM entry, assist with territory planning via mapping software, attend virtual calls with customers/principals, and assist/perform reporting to upper management/principals/sales reps.
We represent multiple, high-level manufacturers which will require training on each principal that we represent and what products they produce. You will need to be able to identify which of those manufacturers would be a possible sourcing fit with the decision maker based on the information you gather.
A typical work day would include calling leads and existing customers and developing relationships with buyers and the manufacturers we represent. You'd research leads and help set appointments for our outside sales team. Reporting and CRM administrative tasks with email follow-up and presenting RFQs and quotes. There will be times you'd be included in virtual calls with manufacturers/customers.
