Job Overview :

The Multifamily Electrical Superintendent is responsible for managing the electrical work on multifamily residential construction projects. This role ensures the installation and maintenance of electrical systems meet quality standards, project timelines, and budget constraints. The superintendent will manage subcontractors, ensure safety protocols are followed, and resolve any issues that arise on the job site.

Key Responsibilities :

• Project Oversight : Supervise all electrical aspects of multifamily construction projects, including wiring, electrical systems, lighting, and power distribution systems.
• Team Management : Lead, coordinate, and manage electrical subcontractors and crew to ensure efficient work performance and completion of the electrical work on time.
• Quality Control : Ensure all electrical work complies with national, state, and local electrical codes, and meet project specifications.
• Scheduling and Planning : Create and manage electrical project timelines, ensuring work is completed on schedule and without delays.
• Safety Compliance : Enforce all safety standards, protocols, and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members and contractors on-site.
• Problem Solving : Identify and resolve issues that may arise in electrical installations, including coordinating with other trades when necessary to address conflicts.
• Budget Management : Monitor project budgets, track costs related to electrical work, and report any changes or unexpected expenses.
• Collaboration : Work closely with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
• Inspection and Testing : Ensure inspections are scheduled, all work passes quality control checks, and systems are fully tested and operational.
• Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, electrical system drawings, and punch lists.

Qualifications :
