Director, Team Manager, Gartner Inc., Arlington, VA. Direct, drive, and ensure on-time and high-quality fulfillment of research projects. Manage performance, and drive a high performance, collaborative culture, overseeing and managing group issues. Review and edit research projects at key checkpoints to ensure quality of insights and writing. Offer feedback and coaching for core research skills including writing, analysis, and research planning. Hire, develop, and retain talent. Collaborate with teams to direct resources and ensure on-time and high-quality deliverables.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business, Statistics, Operations Research, Marketing, or a related field, and eight (8) years related work experience. In the alternative, the employer will accept ten (10) years of related work experience.
Must have eight (8) years of experience with/in:
· Conducting primary and secondary research;
· Utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to create research deliverables;
· Project managing research projects to meet publication deadlines;
· Creating research plans and publications plans to meet client demand;
· Writing and editing research reports, cases, graphics, presentations and other research deliverables;
· Leading collaborative projects with broad sets of stakeholders and subject matter experts; and
· Tracking and analyzing online performance and consumption of research products.
Up to 15% domestic travel may be required.
