Job Function & Purpose: SUPERIOR PARTS & ACCESSORY SUPPORT TO SATISFY
CUSTOMERS. Fulfill customer needs by managing the Parts Department resulting in value, excellent
parts fill rates and assistance, with a high degree of product, customer, and dealership
satisfaction. To represent and promote the Sales, Service, Parts, and Rental Department operations
and store network in a positive manner, which assures customer confidence, repeat
business, and maximum return for the Dealership.
oManagerial Skills Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work. Identifying the best people for the job. Able to supply coaching, training, processes, and work ethics for department staff.
oPersonnel and Human Resources Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits. Conduct annual performance evaluations.
oFinancial Ability to control expenses, review departmental financials, measure sales, gross profit, expenses, and take appropriate action.
oCustomer and Personal Service Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, evaluation of customer satisfaction, and excellent phone communication skills.
oSales and Marketing Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes suggestive selling and tactics, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
oComputers and Systems Knowledge and skill with computers, software systems, and electronic communications.
oMechanical General knowledge of machinery parts, and service items.
