Job Summary
Retail Garden Center. Candidates must have a positive attitude, plant knowledge, excellent leadership and communication skills and know that customer service is number one.
Responsibilities
- Duties will include but are not limited to assisting with purchases and deliveries.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the garden center, ensuring displays are visually appealing.
- In Store Sales as well as assisting customers with Bulk Product phone orders.
- Maintenance of plant material.
- Operate cash registers for sales transactions, handling cash and credit card payments accurately.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and tracking product availability.
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming environment, answering questions and providing information about products.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of gardening practices and plant care techniques.
- Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers effectively.
- Organizational skills to maintain inventory accuracy and store cleanliness.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
