Summary :
As Facilities Maintenance Superintendent at Gast Construction, you will oversee all projects within your designated territory for our clients which include a nationwide storage facility, and industrial juice plants. You will ensure each project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain multiple ongoing project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all phases.
- Managing relationships with external contractors and vendors for specialized services or repairs that are beyond the scope of our in-house staff.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to facilitate smooth workflow and communication.
- Conduct regular site inspections of ongoing projects to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and forecasting costs.
- Responding to and addressing emergency repair issues, such as plumbing leaks, electrical failures, or HVAC breakdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to the facility's operations.
- Conduct small-scale repairs which include, but are not limited to fixing plumbing leaks, replacing light bulbs, adjusting doors and windows, and addressing basic electrical issues.
