Job Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Obtain demographics & insurance information from referring offices to make new patient charts from fax queue
· Labeling fax queue patients for assignments
· Obtain demographics & insurance information from referring offices to make new patient charts from Preferral (AristaMD)
· Ensure insurance eligibility before assigning to scheduling department (fixing grammatical, or numerical errors, and solving conflict in gMed)
· Communicate directly with referring offices regarding patient information, or appointment information
· Assign referral to appropriate scheduler in scheduling departments (OA or OV)
· Update deceased patient charts per obituaries (news pages/ funeral home pages)
· Perform weekly Activity Status Checks for following week appointments
· Merging duplicate charts when discovered (from anyone)
· Covering other business office positions (at supervisor request)
· Fax Greeneville clinic schedule 3 days in advance once a month
Specific Days/Times for duties:
- Activity status checks (T, F)
- Work referrals from AristaMD (everyday)
- Work referrals from fax queue (everyday)
· Labeling fax queue for assignment (everyday)
· Obituaries (F *as time allows*)
- Covering for different positions (as requested & assigned)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
