Description
Gaston County Public Health is committed to protecting, promoting and preserving the health and well-being of all Gaston County residents.
Examples of Duties
The duties listed below are not all of the duties that may be assigned but are those that are considered as essential for an employee to perform.
- Coordinate prevention education about substance use throughout Gaston County including :
Facilitate lessons about tobacco, opioids or other related topics in Gaston County middle and high schools as requested
Provide ongoing TA and support around the Gaston County Tobacco Rule
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation with a Bachelor's degree in Public Health Education or a related field with at least one (1) year of experience in health education or a related field required. Program planning / management experience recommended.
Master's Degree and / or CHES preferred.
Additional Information
The applicant selected must undergo a criminal background check and pass a drug screening test prior to employment.
