General Job Description:
A Sales Engineer at Gasvoda Group focuses on building and sustaining lasting relationships with customers, manufacturers, and others in the Water/Wastewater industry. This will generate revenue for the company by utilizing a working knowledge of all represented manufacturers and products to make informed proposals and sales suggestions.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with engineers, contractors, and customers in assigned territories or markets.
- Establish customer rapport and acceptance as a technical advisor.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers.
- Recommend new and improved equipment and products to customers.
- Work with customers and engineers to ensure equipment meets system requirements.
- Provide timely and accurate responses to customer requests and questions.
- Establish working relationships with principals, traveling, and setting up sales calls.
- Work closely with inside staff, management, and principals learning details of William Reid's product lines, systems, processes, and tools.
- Utilize principal tooling to provide customers with solutions and solve technical problems.
- Research and develop efficient methods to present solutions showing potential customers the cost benefit of purchasing manufacturer's products.
- Make joint sales calls with management and principals upon request/demand.
- Navigate complex sales environments involving multiple parties and lengthy sales cycles.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from initial quoting to installation and ongoing operation.
- Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments in the industry.
- Reinforce collaboration and team building, ensuring client focus, demonstrating commitment to excellence and innovation, and motivating others to ensure positive morale and engagement.
Job Requirements:
- Water/Wastewater industry experience preferred.
- Must carry a strong technical aptitude and curiosity.
- Excellent communication, listening, and organizational skills.
- Occasional overnight travel required.
