Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Plant Administrative Assistant with a strong emphasis on Human Resources functions. This role supports the plant's administrative operations while playing a key role in HR-related activities, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and training coordination. The ideal candidate will be a multitasker with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering a positive workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative report to plant management, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
- Coordinate HR-related activities such as recruiting, onboarding, orientation sessions, training programs, and work with PEO provider.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and assist with resolving routine HR matters.
- Maintain and update employee records in HR system.
- Assist in the recruitment process including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting pre-employment checks.
- Support payroll and benefits information by gathering, verifying, and entering data.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, as well as federal and state employment laws.
- Perform general office duties, including ordering supplies, managing correspondence, and maintaining filing systems.
- Perform daily data entry and logging of production specific data within Microsoft based office systems.
- Perform work within company specific ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) to input various data.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in HR or administration are a plus.
- Previous experience in administrative or HR support roles, preferable in a manufacturing or plant environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of basic HR principles and labor laws.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Positive attitude.

This role is based on-site, in a manufacturing plant environment, requiring adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
