Gates Flag & Banner Company, Inc. is a small, family-owned business, specializing in the sale of flags and banners, and the service and installation of flagpoles. We are looking for a reliable Flagpole Sales Representative , ready to join our team with a strong focus on sales and customer support. This person must have excellent communication skills and be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities. We require that this person is strategic, organized, and takes initiative. This is a Full-Time, In-Person position in our Clifton, NJ location. Training provided, become an expert in a niche market!
Key Responsibilities :
Communicate effectively with customers to provide sales support and create strong relationships.
Respond to incoming leads via phone and email to facilitate the sale of flagpole installations and shipments.
Act as the main point of contact for individual accounts to facilitate success throughout the ordering process.
Guide customers through the sales process by providing quotes, creating sales orders, and invoicing, using a SAGE Accounting package.
Learn and be able to educate customers on our flagpole offerings, as well as the quoting and ordering process.
Become proficient in our stock and custom offerings in order to educate customers on additional flag options for their flagpole.
Be extremely detail oriented, and comfortable learning new processes.
Ability to function successfully in a small, team-based environment.
Utilize a CRM system to track projects and communicate effectively with other internal team members.
Reliable transportation and willingness to meet customers onsite as needed, to be determined by management
Coordinate onsite pickups and order shipments.
Be able to communicate effectively with off-site team members in our Lynchburg, VA location, utilizing remote work platforms, such as Google Teams, Zoom, Univerge Blue Connect, etc.
