Gateway Association, Inc. runs a nationally accredited child care center for children ages 6 weeks through 12 years, with and without special needs. We are looking for a dynamic Assistant Toddler Teacher to join our team and work with children ages 2 1/2 to 3 1/2. Our teachers are the heart of our program and we are looking for someone who loves working with children and has a passion for teaching.
Duties Include:
- Creating and maintaining an environment that is clean and safe for all children
- Carrying out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children
- Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs
- Implementing lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development
- Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family in order to provide quality care for the children
