MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive telephone calls.
- Provide information, take messages, and schedule appointments
- Greet persons entering the premise; determine nature and purpose of visit
- Perform administrative support tasks.
- Ensure hiring paperwork for new employees is completed and coordinate background checks.
- Enter registration requests for clinical services to KEPRO.
- Interacts with providers in a professional, respectful manner that facilitates the treatment process.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor, which are consistent with the position and in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge:
- Good communication skills, written and verbal.
- Also requires the ability to relate well to the public, in person, and on the phone.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, QuickBooks, Excel, and software record keeping is preferred but not required.
- Effective time management
- Capable of priority setting
- Proficient in problem-solving and the continuous improvement process.
Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with internal agency staff as well as with relevant community organizations; interact positively with consumers, work as a team member, communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, maintain confidentiality, and work independently under general supervision.
Qualifications:
Must possess a combination of administration, reception, mental health work experience or relevant education, and training which indicates the possession of knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform essential job duties. Bachelor degree in a relevant field is required. Multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
