Job Summary :
Under general supervision facilitates organized training and development activities of the organization. Facilitates basic core training using standards set forth by the state of Georgia.. Performs Human resource related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas : employee relations, training, employment, labor relations, and affirmative action and employment equity programs.

Training
- Under supervision facilitates “New Employee Orientation” for newly hired employees.
- Processes and disburses documents to all appropriate staff to insure proper flow of the orientation process.
- Provides guidance and expertise to incoming new staff and current staff regarding training.
Administrative HR Duties
Assist the HR department with processing verification of employment.Maintains, updates and distributes the Gateway’s organizational charts, phone lists and email distribution lists.Input new hires data in Reviewsnap performance management software.Off board employees in Reviewsnap performance management software.Provides Support to the Quality Assurance team during investigations.Process GA New hire PaperworkMaintains a consistent, high-quality, customer focused orientation when conducting business and providing services to employees, job applicants, the general public and other internal or external customers.Responds and / or direct in person, phone and email inquiries to appropriate HR delegate.Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel.Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.Reviews and processes personnel and / or position transactions.Resolves personnel transaction problems.Responds to inquiries about the organization and its employees. Provides information to employees on routine personnel-related issues.Performs general clerical duties, such as answering the phone, maintaining files, completing reports, performing limited typing or related duties.Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field by reading appropriate books, journals and other literature and attending related seminars, conferences and the like. Applies pertinent new knowledge to the job.Maintains a consistent, high-quality, customer-focused orientation when conducting business and providing services or products to employees, job applicants, the general public and other external customers.Creates and maintains a high performance environment characterized by positive leadership and a strong team orientation.Performs work according to all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines.Adheres to Gateway’s Standards of Conduct 3.13 and Employee Ethics 3.23.Required Knowledge & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or a related field from a college or university or two (2) years of human resource experience.

Work Environment :
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Some minor travel may be required.
Physical Demands :
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This is a largely d sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
