Job Title : Facilities Coordinator

Reports To : Director of Facilities

Job Overview : The Facilities Coordinator provides administrative support to the Director of Facilities and oversees facility use requests for events such as memorials, weddings, and ministry activities at the Church and both the Bremerton and Poulsbo school campuses.

As a member of the Gateway OneTeam, you will support and demonstrate an understanding of the church's mission : living the Jesus-centered mission. Key qualifications include possessing a character that reflects biblical godliness, demonstrating a meaningful, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and active involvement in a local body of Christian believers.

Job Status : Part-time (20 hrs per week)

Salary Range : $19 - $24 / hr

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administrative Support : Assist with scheduling, credit card reconciliation, and other office tasks to ensure smooth operations. Organize and schedule appropriate staff for each event, ensuring custodial and event support is in place. Maintain the master calendar for all facility use across both campuses, avoiding conflicts and ensuring efficient space usage.
  • Event Coordination : Manage and process facility use requests for memorials, weddings, and ministry events, ensuring all needs (room setup, equipment, etc.) are met in alignment with church values. Communicate with vendors and event organizers, ensuring proper services and resources are in place for successful event execution.
  • Ensure all events follow church policies and safety standards, addressing any facility issues that arise during events in a timely manner.
  • Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience in event coordination or facilities management preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software.
  • A heart for service and ministry, with a focus on supporting the church's mission and values.
  • Education Level : High school diploma or GED.

    Personal Characteristics : Highly personable with a professional demeanor appropriate for an office setting, a passion for serving others, and great attention to detail. Works well with deadlines.

    Physical Abilities : Sufficient mobility to work in an office setting; stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; operate office equipment including the use of a computer keyboard.
