Join the Gateway Grizzlies Professional Baseball Team as a Team Merchandise & Apparel Intern for the 2025 season! The internship offers students the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in professional sports through our dynamic internship program. The internship runs from May to August. The Gateway Grizzlies are located in Sauget, IL and have been a part of the Frontier League since 2001. We are celebrating our 25th Anniversary this season. The Grizzlies returned to the playoffs for the second consecutive year in 2024!

Qualifications:
- Must be for college credit.
- Experienced in graphic design is preferred as well as good project management skills.
- Capable of working individually and handling self-driven projects.
- Able to establish good relations with all levels of employees.
- Have excellent time management and organization skills as well as good problem-solving techniques.
- Must be able to problem solve quickly and work efficiently in an intense environment.
- Have strong language skills for responding quickly to questions from managers, clients and the public.
- Must be willing and able to lift items up to 50 lbs. for set up and take down of games and events.
- Flexible to work long days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Stocking Izzy’s Den with apparel and novelty items.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of Izzy’s Den and storage closet.
- Managing the inventory of all items for Izzy’s Den.
- Fulfilling online orders.
- Working with the supervisor to provide new and exciting merchandise ideas.
- Running the register or maintaining Izzy’s Den during Grizzlies games.
- Answering phone calls & everyday questions about the Gateway Grizzlies organization
- Being available for any mascot appearances during the duration of the internship.
Compensation:
- Unpaid internship
- Candidates can work games and extra events for compensation at an hourly rate.
- Housing is not provided for the internship (Applicants should consider the Greater St. Louis Area for housing)
