What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at Gateway Group Personnel?
Our client is a growing organization seeking an Accountant who wants to be involved in maintaining the accuracy and accountability within the Accounting Department. This role will report directly to the Accounting Manager, in Richland, MS. You will work well as an individual and within a team. Desired experience within cost accounting and general accounting, or audit/internal audit sufficient to provide working knowledge of analyzing significant account variances, accruals, manual journals, reconciling the general ledger, assisting in month end close processes, and quarterly reporting.
Prefer 2 years of experience from a large corporation and an accounting degree. Strong Excel skills are a must.
