Dispatcher - Gateway Limousines Worldwide (Waterbury, CT)
Gateway Limousines, a leading transportation company, is seeking a skilled and professional Dispatcher for our Waterbury, CT location. A high school diploma and a minimum of two years of relevant experience are required. Exceptional communication skills are essential for interacting with our high-demand clientele. Strong computer skills and the ability to multitask are a must.
Responsibilities :
- Dispatch and manage a fleet of 30 executive chauffeurs, optimizing vehicle utilization and contributing to a high-performing team.
- Prioritize client satisfaction, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency in all dispatching activities.
- Provide guidance to chauffeurs to minimize delays, expenses, and service disruptions.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the tri-state area and surrounding airports.
- Communicate effectively with chauffeurs, operations management, and the reservations team.
- Foster communication and collaboration between departments.
- Proactively communicate with clients and passengers to manage expectations and prevent potential issues.
- De-escalate challenging situations and resolve customer concerns effectively.
- Manage high call volumes, support reservation efforts, and address after-hours needs (weather events, unexpected surges in demand, and other emergencies).
- On-call overnight availability required 3-4 times per week.
