What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper - YMCA of the Ozarks position at Gateway Region YMCA?

- Responsible for care, cleanliness and security of the assigned areas and property.
- Responsible for personal quality in workmanship, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and maintenance in all aspects of the job.
- Responsible for personal safety, doing his/her job in the safest manner possible.
- Responsible for meeting time and quality standards set forth by Director of Housekeeping.
- Follow through with all inventory policies and procedures including linen counts.
- Able and willing to work on deep cleaning during “slow season” at Camp Lakewood and Trout Lodge to include using ladders, carpet extractor, man lift, moving of furniture, mattresses and etc.
- Help care for and maintain: supply rooms, storage units, linens service areas, and housekeeping work areas.
- Responsible for observing and reporting any damages or needed repairs to appropriate personnel.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Experience in Commercial housekeeping is desirable, but not required.
