Job Description

Responsibilities
- Possess knowledge and skills in maintenance areas including electrical, HVAC, training, inventory control, plumbing, general construction, fleet vehicle administration, and maintenance.
- Train, supervise, and guide staff.
- Compile and prioritize daily work order assignments.
- Conduct a physical inspection of grounds daily, noting any problems.
- Oversee the Maintenance and Grounds Keeping Staff.
- Be responsible for RMOD shifts.
- Be available for emergency calls when on duty.
- Oversee all phases of project completion.
- Implement safety training and safety programs.
- Participate in the implementation of the YMCA energy and environmental plan.
- Order materials and supplies for daily operation after approval by Property Manager.
- Develop a close working relationship with departments to provide a positive experience for guests and campers.
- Ongoing development of building inventory and needs.
- Provide input to departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or trade school/training certification in general maintenance.
- Minimum five years of management experience in full service maintenance establishment required.
- HVAC certification, Electrical experience, General Construction experience preferred.
