6-12 School Adjustment Counselor: Gateway Regional School
Gateway Regional School District is seeking a School Adjustment Counselor
Qualified Candidates Must:
Have a MA School Adjustment or Social Worker License (or licensed by August 25, 2025)
Have a Master’s Degree
Have experience working in a school setting (preferred)
Have strong written and verbal communication skills
Have experience teaching social skills groups
Have experience writing behavior plans, student support plans; have knowledge of IEPs
Hold an unwavering belief that every student can grow and succeed
Professional Responsibilities Include:
Working with grade level teams and departments to support students in classroom
Collaborate with other SACs and School Counselors
Meeting service delivery requirements for students on IEPs
Participate in assigned duties per the contract.
Attend staff meetings, professional development, required training, and other meetings during the course of the school year.
Collaboration and ongoing communication with families and colleagues
Potentially other duties requested by administration.
Rate of pay: To be determined based on qualifications, experience, and contract.
