What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rehabilitation Support Specialist position at Gateway Rehab?
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Treatment Support Technician 2 to join our Adolescent Program team at Gateway Rehab Center in Center Township, PA. As a member of our team, you will act as a liaison between clinical staff and patients, ensuring seamless communication and support.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to multitask with ease, and possess a strong understanding of the recovery process. A clean driving record is required, as you will be responsible for transporting patients to and from appointments, support groups, and other activities.
A key aspect of this role is documenting patient involvement in progress notes, monitoring medication taken by clients (if applicable), and providing knowledge of 12-step programs and/or other recovery support systems. Additionally, obtaining PA Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprinting clearances, as well as CPR/First Aid training, is required for this position.
