Our client is a leading, innovative, and multinational company with a rich history of over 200 years. They are seeking a Global Corporate Insurance Manager to lead the development and management of a comprehensive global insurance strategy. Reporting directly to senior leadership within the Treasury and Risk Management department, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company’s global insurance programs, including risk management, claims management, compliance, and insurance procurement across multiple jurisdictions. This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on the company's overall risk strategy while working alongside diverse teams on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities :

Insurance Strategy Development :

Develop and implement a global insurance strategy aligned with the company’s risk management framework.

  • Evaluate and recommend insurance coverage to mitigate financial and operational risks.

Policy and Program Management :

Oversee the design, placement, and maintenance of corporate insurance programs, including property, casualty, cyber, financial, and specialty lines.

  • Continuously assess policies to ensure their relevance and effectiveness.
  • Risk Assessment and Management :

    Conduct regular risk assessments to identify exposure and develop risk mitigation strategies.

  • Collaborate with departments to ensure effective implementation of risk management policies.
  • Claims Management :

    Manage the claims process to ensure timely reporting and resolution of claims.

  • Build strong relationships with insurers for effective claims communication.
  • Stakeholder Engagement :

    Collaborate with senior leadership and various departments to align insurance strategies with business objectives.

  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners, including brokers and insurance carriers.
  • Compliance and Reporting :

    Ensure adherence to local and international insurance regulations.

  • Prepare and present reports to senior management and the board on the insurance program’s performance.
  • Team Leadership :

    Lead and mentor the corporate insurance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

    Requirements

    Qualifications : Education :

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or related field (required).

  • Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CRM, FRM) preferred.
  • Experience :

    7 years of experience in corporate risk management, insurance, or related fields.

  • Proven success in managing global insurance programs and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Experience working with senior leadership and board members on risk-related matters.
  • Skills & Competencies :

    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of articulating complex issues to diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of risk management software and financial risk management practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
