SUMMARY OF POSITION
Gateways Hospital and Mental Health Center seeks a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the implementation of a federally funded initiative aimed at expanding trauma-informed care and screening for adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) among adolescents and transition-age youth. This short-term position will work closely with clinical leadership to coordinate project activities, manage data collection, and support training implementation through October 2025.
ESSENTIALS DUTIES
- Coordinate trauma-informed care training programs for clinical and administrative staff
- Support the implementation of ACEs screening protocols across designated programs
- Assist with organizing and facilitating youth/family advisory board meetings
- Maintain project timelines, ensuring adherence to grant-funded deliverables
- Manage data collection, reporting, and documentation in compliance with project requirements
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and external partners
- Support program evaluation activities, including data analysis and progress reporting
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Project Director
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in healthcare or mental health settings
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Experience with data collection, reporting, and grant-funded program support
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATES
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, psychology, social work, or a related field required
- Master’s degree preferred
REQUIREMENTS
- Must pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), and Community Care Licensing (CCL) background clearance.
- Valid California Driver’s license.
- TB clearance.
- Driving record acceptable for coverage by Gateways insurance carrier.
- Fire and Safety Training*.
- Note: If indicated certifications/licenses are lacking, they must be obtained within 180 days of hire.
