We are looking for a Technology Project Coordinator (TPC) to support bond-funded technology projects. In this role, you’ll be at the center of innovation, coordinating technology initiatives that enhance infrastructure and improve operations. You’ll work alongside project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with maximum impact.
The selected candidate will manage and coordinate the implementation of complex technology projects, troubleshoot technical issues, and develop project presentations, including but not limited to the following project types:
- Networking and Communications
- Physical Security
- Audio-Visual Classroom Technologies
- VoIP and Telephony
- Software Upgrades
- Helpdesk and Work Order Systems
- Wireless Deployment
- High-Speed and Broadband Networks
- Prepare and maintain Project Initiation Forms
- Develop and update Project Schedules
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Utilize Bluebeam and/or Revit to review drawings/specifications and perform takeoffs
- Schedule and organize project meetings
- Create agendas, take meeting notes, and finalize meeting minutes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment
- Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to complete project tasks
- Provide timely status reports and maintain organized project documentation
- Prepare and deliver reports and presentations as needed
- Conduct on-site project observations and document findings
- Oversee installation processes to ensure adherence to project requirements
- Successfully support and coordinate 5 to 10 projects simultaneously, ranging in value and complexity
- Ensure all project data is accurately documented and reported in a timely manner
- Support the delivery of technology projects on schedule and within budget
- Report and collaborate with the Program Management Office and Technology Project Management Department
- Assist in the development of detailed technical scopes of work
- Review and coordinate the approval of technology project submittals
- Work with Asset Management to support asset tagging of technology equipment
- Coordinate with Accounting for invoice processing
- Track all project statuses and provide management reports as needed
- Update risk logs and identify risk mitigation plans
- 3 years of experience managing multiple projects, preferably within capital improvement programs and familiarity with relevant codes and standards
- Demonstrated experience working in construction environments
- Proven ability to coordinate IT projects of varying complexity and size
- Experience with website management and dashboard tools
- Demonstrated experience installing low voltage cabling including broadband and internet services
- Proficiency in Bluebeam and/or Visio
- Experience in Community College Facilities
- Familiarity with contractor and subcontractor coordination
- Background in integrating technology with construction and engineering projects
- Relevant IT or Project Management certifications
