What are the responsibilities and job description for the GFEBS Financial Data Analyst Instructor/Developer (4611) position at GATEWAYVENT?
Eagle Harbor, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and an Industry Leader is seeking GFEBS Financial Data Analyst to provide technical, analytical, DoD Financial Management (FM), and training development expertise to advance Data Analytics training and educational outcomes. Position is located at Ft. Jackson, Columbia, SC.
Well qualified candidates will be expected to:
- The Financial Data Analyst will perform all duties to administer the data analytics partnership program taught at U of SC to include but not limited to:
- Maintain website and software as required.
- Receive & process all travel and training request forms as required.
- Record student attendance.
- Provide U of SC with applicable enrollment, attendance and obligation documentation as required.
- Act as the Point of Contact (POC) for U of SC students while attending the course(s).
- Ensure all required financial documents are properly completed and submitted timely.
- Monitor and report funding availability as required.
- Financial Data Analyst also responsible for developing training.
- Must understand and enhance existing database reporting capabilities.
- Coordinate the training of quantitative models that provide data-oriented and driven analysis.
- Responsible for the introduction of model-oriented analysis that includes trends, forecasting, and other statistical methods.
- Synthesize the available data to allow trainees to provide sound recommendations to decision-makers.
- Lead the design and development of training to instruct on how to build a digital dashboard from data mined from the GFEBS/SAP system.
- Must be well versed in managing large amounts of data and the interoperability between different systems.
- Perform all duties, subject to Government approval, to administer the data analytics partnership program.
Position Requirements:
- US Citizen.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Active Public Trust Designation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Information Systems (CIS), Information Technology, Math and Statistics, Economics, or Engineering.
- Three (3) years of documented GFEBS Operational experience.
- Three (3) years of Army or DoD FM experience, with a military background in training development.
- Three (3) years of working knowledge in report generation in GFEBS ECC-BI.
- Knowledge of system engineer, systems and software architecture concepts, computer software and hardware principles.
- Valid US Driver’s License.
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous Instructor/Writer-Developer experience and TRADOC qualification preferred.
